List of dramas with the dubious honour of below-10% ratings

Happened to chance upon this site which lists some dramas that have the dubious honour of an average rating below 10%. Among this list, there are some which I've watched halfway (highlighted in red), some which I even finished (blue) and of course those I didn't touch at all. How many from this list have you watched before? Do you agree that ratings reflect the quality of a drama accurately? It used to be a good litmus test for quality but now, I'm not so sure anymore. Surprisingly, in this list of dramas, there are some which I did finish and frankly speaking, enjoyed it to a certain extent despite my grouses.

No, I don't agree that poor ratings reflects a poorly made drama. It's either they have a strong competition at that time or the time slot is wrong for that drama. I've seen dramas (most of which are not on this list) that are not the best in ratings but have a funny plot.

Yes, precisely! There's been talk in recent years about tracking the ratings of repeat telecasts or recording rates which should give a better indication of how far the reach of a drama is. However, there are lots of difficult issues to consider if they want to track such figures so the first OA ratings are still pretty much the yardstick the measure a drama's popularity these days. Considering the fact that many people have alternative forms of entertainment, I for one don't have the time to sit in front of the TV on time for my favourite programmes but can only record them and watch them later. It should be the same in Japan or anywhere else too.
