Adachi Yumi announced through her agency on 13 Nov that she had married cameraman Kuwajima Tomoki. In her statement, Adachi mentioned that the two of them will work together to raise her daughter and build a secure and safe family while they continue to work hard in their careers. She also asked for the support and well-wishes of everyone around them.Adachi and Kuwajima met when he was the cameraman for her photobook released in September last year. They were first romantically linked in August 2013 and he was also involved in the production of her new movie released this year.
Adachi was previously married to comedian Itoda Jun of Speed Wagon from 2005 and gave birth to their daughter in April the following year. They split up in January 2009.
