Tsumabuki plays the role of an elite salaryman Fujita Yuma who lives with his boyfriend Onishi Naoto (Ayano) in the movie. In order to look convincing as a pair of lovers, Tsumabuki and Ayano revealed that they had been living together during the filming period. Tsumabuki commented that it is rare to find someone of the same wavelength as him when it comes to how to act in a movie so he was grateful to be able to meet someone like Ayano. As part of the preparations for the movie, the two of them also went to Shinjuku Nichome where there are many gay bars so to portray their characters' relationship in a realistic manner. Ayano responded by saying that it had been a precious experience to work with Tsumabuki in this manner and he felt like they have become as close as family during that period.
